Overall purpose and objectives of the job

A rare opportunity has opened up at the Geological Society Publishing House in Bath. We are looking for a Production Editor to join our small, friendly Production team that values innovation and quality. Reporting to the Senior Production Editor, the main responsibility of the role is to manage the production of specified book titles from our well-regarded books’ list.

The objective of the role is to ensure publication on time, to cost, to the satisfaction of Editors and authors and to specified quality criteria.
