Morressier - Social Media Intern

During this period of exciting growth, Morressier is seeking a social media intern to help execute our digital communications strategy, increase brand awareness, and build connections among our community. This is a part-time (ca. 15-20 hrs/week) paid role for the 2020 Fall Semester that could lead to a permanent position for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook company accounts with product and partner updates, cross-promotion (press releases, news, blog, etc.), and other information sharing
  • Build community through participating in online conversations and comments related to partners and industry and product focus, effectively using hashtags and other tools to expand awareness
  • Research and present new avenues for participation – Reddit forums, etc. and advise management on how to expand overall channel efforts
  • Support other business projects in the areas of marketing, communications and client retention as and when required
  • KPIs: Build followers, generate activity, drive lead acquisition

Requirements:

  • Digital communications background or experience with social media / building online communities
  • While designed for a current working student, recent graduates will also be considered (note, no benefits are available)
  • Fluent English speaker, excellent written communications and ability to communicate scientific content clearly
  • Remote position can be based anywhere, but availability during EST (Washington, DC) or CET (Berlin) working hours preferred
  • Must be able to work both independently and with direction from the Head of Communications
