Inspiring the community with EDI/DEIA

Following an EDI/DEIA survey with the ALPSP community, we have collated ideas and benchmarks to help inspire your internal EDI/DEIA practices at your organization. We want to help you inform your EDI/DEIA strategy and take ideas to improve your strategy.

What follows brings together the comments from the ALPSP EDI working group survey, which took place in November 2021, led by Simon Holt and Lou Peck. What is notable was that there were not two or three ‘big takeaways’ or recommendations that cut across the whole industry – each respondent had their own recommendations and priorities, underlining that EDI/DEIA is a complex, multi-faceted process that requires the combination of a great many policies, processes, programmes and initiatives to get right.

This resource is designed to give ALPSP members at all stages of the ALPSP journey – whether at the very beginning to those who have already been working in this space for many years – practical steps to move forward.

As a community resource, it will continue to be updated with industry input. Please submit your feedback and lessons learned to edi@alpsp.org, so we can continue helping the industry progress.
