Developing Country Initiatives

Concern over access to information within the less advantaged populations of the world became a hot topic in the last few years, and the publishing industry responded with a variety of different initiatives to alleviate the situation. Although access is very much improved, there are still inequalities of information exchange and increasing concern that information may be able to get into the developing world, but it is harder to get information out.
