Open Access - Repositories

There is an increasing push for institutions to establish their own digital repositories, to capture both the grey literature (theses, working papers, etc.) and the published articles authored within their institution. There has also, in some disciplines, been a long history of archiving papers for peer attention prior to publication (e.g. ArXiv.org). There are increasing mandates for researchers to deposit their articles in repositories (ses OA General) but the effect on conventional journals of a growth of articles within repositories is unknown.
