Learning objectives - by the end of the course delegates will be able to: Understand the role of the editor and editorial office; know what happens to a paper after acceptance; understand how journal finances work; know about the subscription cycle, subscription agents and customer service; appreciate what goes into a journal marketing plan and how it is executed; and be aware of some of the threats and opportunities in the future for journal publishers.
